We Meerkats love the colour of pink and have for the past 3 years hoping to offer you a Rosé that will stand out – here it is our 2009 Pinotage Rosé produced from the first 300 Liters out of every ton of Pinotage crushed to get all the flavours possible.

Tasting Notes
Meerkat wines brings you this well-rounded wine with a light salmon colour. With flavours of watermelon intertwined with complex red fruit like cranberries and raspberries. With a little bit of sweetness, this wine offers you a refreshing drink with lovely flavours of fresh strawberries and cream on the palate. Meerkat invites you to this flavour filled oddicy. Vinification
The 2009 harvest was a very good year for Pinotage. Good fruit extraction and concentration where developed which is how we came up with this Rosé. Only the first 300 litres of every ton of grapes where used so we could get the colour we wanted. A light coloured, fruity Rosé with a crisp fresh mouth feel.
